Owned and operated by Liz, a highly experienced barber with over 30 years in the industry, the shop is known for its welcoming atmosphere and expert craftsmanship.

My name is Liz

I’ve been hairdressing since I was 15 and completed a four-year apprenticeship, becoming fully qualified at 19. At 17, I had a little hiccup—a stroke—but six months later, I was back doing what I love.

I spent 15 years working in salons across Howick and Panmure before moving into barbering, where I worked in a Howick barbershop for 13 years. In 2016, I relocated to Wellsford, and in 2019, I took the leap and bought my own barbershop—right before COVID hit. It’s been tough with all the lockdowns, but I’m still here, running a great little business.

Even though it’s a barbershop, I love cutting hair for everyone—ladies, men, and children. The best part about My barbers shop is that there are no bookings needed—just walk in, get your haircut, and be on your way. Perfect for busy people!

All ages are welcome, and I’d love to meet you. Come in for a cut, a chat, and a good laugh!
